Biographical Information

I am Makah enrolled. My Indian names are Na-Non-Ka-Mo and Qual La-Nom-It, from my Great Grandmother and Grandmother.

I am an advocate for the treaty right to health care. I am an Indian Shaker minister 1910, newly classified as a traditional healer. I am a human rights activist. I speak about death and dying. To speak about death and dying you first have to speak about life, the sacred act of sex, pregnancy, birth and life. The dos and don'ts of pregnancy, rules.

I live on the land where I was born; I was delivered by my namesakes. I am 61 years old, have 4 children, 9 grandchildren who help me with my Indian medicines. I am physically handicapped from birth.

As a Shaker I am not allowed to ask for money because of the history of traditional healing, but I do accept travel.
