Biographical Information

Luisah Teish is a writer, performer and ritualist. She is the author of Jambalaya and the Artisitic director of Ase Thheater's Women in White Peace Theater. She is an initiated elder in the Ifa/Orisha tradition of Southwest Nigeria and the Chair of the Committee on Women's Issues for the World Congress on Orisha.

She will perform opening and closing ceremonies for the conference.
