The gift economy inside and outside of Patriarchal Capitalism

My presentation will be about reclaiming the dying process through understanding the sacred view of life, death and regeneration from the womb-wisdom of our ansisters. Re-membering women's ancient spirituality, as old as the earth herself, can help us transform and transmute the fear instilled in us from what I call PMS, or patriarchal mind-set about death and dying. Approaching death from the view of gift-giving instead of exchange can empower the dying as well as those attending the passage.
